All Progressives Grand Alliance Apostles Forum, Oyi Local Government Area has been Inaugurated with a mandate to keep propagating the good work of the party to all the nooks and cranny of Anambra State.
speaking during the inauguration of the fifteen political Ward Co-ordinators and Local Government Executive in Oyi, the National Convener of the Apostles Forum, Chief Anthony Nchekwube said that the APGA Apostles Forum was formed to entrench politics of development and empowerment into the system, as well as supporting the lofty objectives and ideologies of APGA .
Chief Nchekwube who asked their members to be steadfast at all times, urged them to form what he called a cluster of agric business interest that will metamorphose into a cooperative society in order for them to benefit from the Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s agricultural interventions and human capital development.
The APGA Apostles Forum convener further charged them to ensure that they participate in the party’s ongoing online registration of new members and revalidation of old members, adding that their members will also help the party to ensure seamless registration of party members across the state.
The APGA Apostles Forum Co-ordinator in Oyi Local Government Area, Mr. Chidiebele Obika in his remarks, noted that Oyi is an APGA local government and that the party has been winning elections in all the political wards in Oyi, including the last general elections and the election of Governor Soludo.
Mr. Obika assured that they will ensure that the party sustains the momentum in the local government, while thanking the national leadership of the APGA Apostles Forum for finding them worthy to serve.
The Apostles Forum Coordinator for Anambra North Senatorial District, Chief Ifeanyi Chinweze represented by the APGA Local Government Chairman of Anambra East, Chief Joseph Emeka-Ekwealor also re-echoed the need for APGA Apostles Forum members to ensure that they are registered or revalidated digitally, which is the latest initiative of the party.
Earlier while leading the new executives in taking the oath of office, the National Director for Planning, Strategy and Compliance of the forum, Mr. Emeka Ozumba reminded them that their new portfolios is a call to service which demands honesty and hardwork at all times.
The event attracted political stakeholders in Oyi, both from APGA and other political parties, while decamping of some stakeholders from other political parties to APGA climaxed the event.
