The immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha local government area, Chief Gerald Ozoh has called on Nigerians to learn how to make sacrifices for more unity, peace and progress in the country.

 

Speaking on the significance of peaceful Coexistence, as the Muslim faithful observe their feast of Eid El Kabir, Chief Ozoh who described peace and unity as prerequisites for socio economic development, cautioned Nigerians against behaviors that will bring retardation to the progress of the country.

 

Chief Ozoh who is the coordinator of Great Soludo Patriots International, called on the Muslim faithful to imbibe the teachings of love, sacrifice and selflessness as prophet Ibrahim preaches, and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for creating an enabling environment for peaceful coexistence among different tribes in Anambra State, describing the Governor as a detribalized Nigerian.

 

He described Nigeria as a country that is richly blessed, and called for equitable distribution of the Nations resources among the six geopolitical Zones of the country and made a case for the adherence to the federal character principles in offering federal appointments.

 

The former Anambra Mayor, used the opportunity to commend Governor Soludo for his giant strides in the State which has continued to earn him multiple awards and called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayers to his administration.

 

Chief Ozoh charged the people of Anambra State to key into the Private, public community partnership Initiative of the state government to ensure rapid transformation of Anambra State, and commended some individuals who have keyed into the initiative in the areas of road infrastructure, especially in Anaocha local government area.
