The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Prosper Amah says doing the Will of God comes with series of blessings and Mercy.

In a sermon at Saint John’s Parish Ochuche during a service of confirmation and admission into Mothers Union and Girls Guild Bishop Amah maintained that following the commandments of God attracts honor from God and regretted that many people have disregarded the efficacy of prayer, ignoring the God’s presence in their lives and called on such people to have a rethink.

He charged Christians to always seek the presence of God in their lives like the Biblical David despite the challenges and attacks that might confront them.

Right Reverend Amah used the event to also mark the 2024 International Father’s Day in the Anglican Diocese of Ogbaru which was celebrated on the third Sunday in June, where he charged fathers to avoid acts that will continue to debase fatherhood.

He charged Christian fathers to always lead their family towards the right path as the Head and pastor of their various families, and jettison those things that will bring shame to themselves and family.

Right Reverend Amah charged the faithful to always anchor their hope and trust in God, reminding Christian fathers to aspire to live lives that will glorify God, saying that it is the duty of every Christian to give good testimonies about Jesus Christ.

The service which was jointly facilitated by Venerable John Chukwudalu, Reverend’s Toochukwu Iwuorah and Bekee C Bekee featured series of prayers for those in leadership positions, the church, Anambra State and the Nigerian Nation as well as various families.

The president of Ogbaru Diocesan Women’s Ministry Dr Uche Amah, some Diocesan officials, uniformed organizations, Members of Men’s fellowship in Ogbaru Diocese among others attended the service.

Performances by various church groups, especially members of the Anglican Children’s Ministry, and members of the Girls and Boy’s brigade added glamour to the Diocesan service.
