The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Ifeanyi Chinweze has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his numerous developmental strides and socioeconomic development in the state.
Speaking to newsmen immediately after his confirmation by the Anambra State House of Assembly in Awka, Chief Chinweze appreciated God and Governor Chukwuma Soludo for giving him the opportunity to serve Ndi Anambra East in and thanked all those who contributed in one way or the other in making the exercise hitch-free.
He commended Governor Soludo for his giant strides in the areas of road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, youth empowerment, security, agricultural revolution, commerce and industry among others.
The Anambra East Mayor described the one youth two skills initiative of the present administration in the state as one of the best things that has happened to Anambra youths, as it will help to reduce youth unemployment and restiveness as well as boost the internally generated revenue of the state.
Chief Chinweze further extolled the Governor for his free antenatal and delivery services granted to pregnant women and free basic education to the pupils and students in Anambra, saying that it has further reduced the number of out-of-school children in the state, even when Anambra is the lowest in terms of out of school children in Nigeria and equally reduce maternal mortality.
According to Chief Chinweze, the construction and ongoing construction of over four hundred and fifty kilometers of roads, building of five new general hospitals, including Enugu-Otu Aguleri in Anambra East, renovation of primary healthcare centres in all the political wards in the state are testaments to the Governor’s innovative leadership style.
The TC Chairman promised to bring the much-needed transformation to Anambra East Local Government, in line with Governor Soludo’s agenda of building a liveable, secure and prosperous homeland.
Chief Chinweze also noted that his administration will deploy an all-inclusive governance to ensure that nobody is left behind in Anambra East, appealing to Ndi Anambra East to always support and pray for him and his team to succeed.
