The Woman Leader of All the Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra State, Mrs Esther Onyekesi says the emergence of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the Vice Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum is well-deserved.
In an interview with newsmen, Mrs Onyekesi expressed satisfaction with the election outcome, which shows that Governor Soludo’s remarkable achievements in various sectors of the economy, is recognized locally, nationally, regionally, and internationally.
She expressed confidence that Governor Soludo will bring his administrative expertise to bear in the administration of the Southern Governors’ Forum as its Vice Chairman, having restored public confidence in governance through his people-oriented programmes and policies in Anambra State.
Mrs Onyekesi called for continued support and prayers for Governor Soludo in his efforts to transform Anambra State and contribute to revitalizing the nation’s economy as a member of the National Economic Council.
The woman Leader praised the multiple recognitions of Governor Soludo, including the Champion Newspapers’ Award as the Best Governor of 2023 in infrastructure and rural development, as a testament to his commitment to developing Anambra State hinterlands through quality road construction, improving human and vehicular movements, and boosting businesses.
Mrs Onyekesi commended the Governor’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo, for her support to the Governor and for using her non-governmental organization, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, to improve the living standards of rural dwellers, calling for its sustainability.
