The Transition Committee Chairman of Oyi Local Government Area, Barrister Emma Nweke has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his emergence as the Vice Chairman of the Southern Governors forum describing it as most appropriate.
Barrister Nweke maintained that Governor Soludo has through his purposeful economic policies improved the living standards of Ndi Anambra.
He assured absolute commitment to continuous community development and transformation to support Governor Soludo’s vision of building a livable and prosperous Anambra.
Barrister Nweke who spoke in Awka after the confirmation of the new twenty-one local government transition committee Chairmen by the House of Assembly said that Oyi Local Government Area under his watch will experience more sustainable growth and development.
According to him, the development of Oyi Local Government Area is a collective responsibility, hence the need for more support to enable him perform beyond expectations.
While appreciating Governor Chukwuma Soludo for giving him the opportunity to serve and help in delivering the dividends of democracy at the grassroots, Barrister Nweke promised to replicate the good policies and programmes of the Governor especially on security, health, education, youth development, clean and healthy living and sustainable environment initiatives amongst others.
