The Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi has assured past political appointees who worked with former Governor Willie Obiano that the government of Professor Chukwuma Soludo is ready to work with them for enhanced development of Anambra State.

Mr. Ezeajughi stated this during a meeting with the past political appointees in Awka.

Addressing the appointees, Mr. Ezeajughi appreciated them for their service to Ndi Anambra during the past administration, and asked them to keep supporting the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and the Soludo’s administration.

The Chief of Staff who listed the numerous achievements of Governor Soludo from infrastructural development to the healthcare, security, youth empowerment and employment, workers welfare, education among others, assured them that Governor Soludo will look into all their demands for a better, livable and prosperous homeland.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu said that he was highly overwhelmed with the number of the past political appointees that attended the meeting, and described them as field merchants who are instrumental to the successes recorded by the party in many previous elections.

Dr. Obiogbolu explained that the government of Professor Soludo is passionate about the well-being of Ndi Anambra, especially those in the grassroots, hence his administration’s commitment to developing the hinterlands urging them to sustain the tempo.

Earlier, one of the conveners of the meeting, Mr Chika Ibeneme said that the parley was for the past political appointees who are genuinely supporting the Soludo’s administration to come and discuss about some pressing issues affecting them.

Mr Ibeneme said that the past political appointees are fully supporting the current administration in the state and distanced themselves from those he described as political merchants who claimed to be past political appointees but are working tirelessly to bring down the Soludo government.

A ten-point communique was presented to the Chief of Staff by the past political appointees for onward transmission to Governor Soludo where they said that they are supporting the Soludo administration.
