publication about some fees in the institution was wrong and false. On the issue of consultation fee, the writer feigned oblivious of the current situation in the country with the exorbitant increase of everything. For example, the hospital used to buy diesel at two hundred and seventy naira per litre but it is now one thousand five hundred naira, an addition of one thousand two hundred and thirty naira in this moment of high inflation.

patients coming to COOUTH for different medical purposes increased by thirty per cent, and Solar-powered building. Others are renovations in the Accident and Emergency Administrative Block, Accreditation for Specialist training of Postgraduate Doctors in internal Medicine, Surgery, Obsetrics and Gynecology, Paedeatrics as well as Community Medicine. COOUTH has remarkably improved in attendance to patients. With the introduction of Servicom, complaints are effectively addressed with patients optimal satisfaction. People with genuine complaints usually report to Servicom because the hospital is for the good of everybody.

People of Anambra State have been coming around to offer useful suggestions and even settling patients bills in view of the current situation in the country. The hospital is using this opportunity to plead with the general public to always channel all genuine complaints, advice and criticisms of the hospital to SERVICOM, which is a department created to tackle issues involving patients and Staff of the Institution.

Let’s work together to build a trustworthy and efficient healthcare system which is one of the cardinal policies of the Soludo’s administration .

COOUTH assures the good people of Anambra that it will continue to deliver on its mandate at all times under the able leadership of Dr. Akabuike the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital.
