The President of the National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Anambra State Chapter, Comrade Chikwelu Adigwe has felicitated the new Transition Committee Chairmen of the twenty-one Local Government Areas of the state, who have been inaugurated by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

 

Felicitating them on behalf of the Union , Comrade Adigwe urged them to take up the responsibilities and challenges of their high office seriously, and assured them of their continued friendship, industrial peace and harmony in the interest of the local government areas and Anambra state in general.

 

The NULGE President charged them to key into the vision of Governor Soludo in building a livable and prosperous homeland, by bringing into the system their wealth of experiences as they prepare for local government elections in the near future, which Governor Soludo recently signed into law.

 

Comrade Adigwe commended the Governor for working round the clock to provide all the necessary logistics for successful Anambra Local Government elections, saying that the move is a welcome development to their teeming members.

 

According to Comrade Adigwe, as they are dealing with the political wards in their various local governments, they should remember that their first constituencies are the staff who are working with them in their respective local governments, adding that their staff and NULGE executives in their various council areas are there to help them to succeed in this critical time of their career.
