The Deputy Majority Leader of Anambra State House of Assembly and Member representing Njikoka Constituency Two, Dr Jude Akpua says good governance entails reaching the grassroots and delivering dividends of democracy to them.

 

Dr. Akpua was speaking during the commissioning of a water project he provided for his constituency at Nimo Ward Two .

Speaking during the event, Dr. Akpua restated his commitment to ensuring quality representation and enacting sound legislation for the benefit of his constituents.

 

Dr. Akpua explained that his mission as a lawmaker is centered around improving the lives of those he represents, assuring that more community projects would be undertaken, particularly in hard-to-reach areas, to alleviate the challenges faced by people.

Commissioning the project, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Central Zonal Chairman, Mr. Ndukaku Okoye, commended Dr. Akpua for his proactive approach and the tangible developments he is bringing to Njikoka Constituency Two.

 

Mr. Okoye noted that the water project is a testament to his responsiveness to the needs of his people and commitment to sustainable community development.

On his part, the Transition Committee Chairman for Njikoka Council Area, Barrister Chinedu Ononiba, also praised Dr. Akpua for his efforts in transforming the constituency, while lauding his initiative as a significant step towards improving the quality of life for the residents of Njikoka.

 

In his reaction, the APGA Chairman, Njikoka Council Area, Pharmacist Chinedu Aniekwe, expressed appreciation for Dr. Akpua’s efforts, urging ndi Njikoka to throw their support behind him.
