The Transition Committee Chairman of Ihiala Local Government Area, Engineer Anayo Orjiakor has charged the twenty-five newly sworn-in councilors of the local council to be ambassadors of Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration at the grassroots level.
The TC Chairman gave the charge while inaugurating the councilors representing various wards in the local government as a way to drive the Solution campaign to all the nooks and crannies of the communities in the local government area.

performing the Inauguration at the Council headquarters Ihiala, Engineer Orjiakor tasked the newly inaugurated Ward Councilors to take the message of disruptive change to the grassroots in order to improve the living conditions of the rural populace and align with the Governors broad development agenda.
The Mayor thanked Governor Soludo for his development agenda in Ihiala, including enhancing security, road infrastructure, borehole projects, empowerment among others, urging Ndi Ihiala to always return home and witness the positive changes, despite the negative narratives often portrayed on social media.
He called on them to give their wards maximum attention with twenty-four hours involvement in what is going on in their communities, adding that the solution team of the local government is targeted at making remarkable changes, describing the set of Councilors inaugurated as assets to the council area and urged them to be diligent, resourceful and humane while dealing with the people.
The traditional ruler of Ihiala, Igwe Thomas Obidiegwu and his Ubuluisiuzo counterpart, Igwe John Ozulumba, expressed satisfaction with the positive transformation in Ihiala Local Government Area by Governor Soludo’s administration and thanked the Local Government Chairman for his effective leadership and inclusive approach.
In their remarks, the Member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Honourable Paschal Agbodike represented by Mr Val Ejezube, the Member representing Ihiala Constituency One, Honourable Jude Ngobili, represented by Mr. Charles Odimba and the Chairman, All Progressives’ Grand Alliance for Ihiala Local Government Area, Mr Chijioke Okoye, encouraged the new councilors to work diligently.
Responding, some of the Councilors, including Mr. Mc-Henry Chukwuebuka and Mrs Ugochi Obi, on behalf of others, pledged to collaborate effectively to advance the council area and act as agents of change and solutions in their communities.
The event was attended by the Head of the Local Government Administration, Engineer Valentine Onuorah, various stakeholders from the local government, traditional rulers, APGA party stalwarts, among others.
