The Anambra State Government has advised property owners along Amawbia-Agulu-Nanka-Ekwulobia-Uga road to begin to relocate them to somewhere else to avoid being affected by the road dualization project.
This is contained in a statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu.
According to the statement, the law demands that property along a federal highway must be set back by forty-seven-point-five meters from the center of the road and anything short of that, is a violation of the law and such a property will be regarded and treated as an illegal structure.
Sir Paul Nwosu maintained that by the notice, the State government wishes to minimize avoidable losses on the part of those that could be affected.
