In a bid to ensure that access to justice is expanded to all deserving Ndi Anambra, bridging the infrastructural deficits and ensure decent courtrooms, the twenty-first Anambra State Executive Council meeting has approved the award of a contract for the construction of Six-Hall High Court Building Complex in Awka to Hemebs Construction Nigeria Ltd at the cost of one billion, one hundred and forty-one million, nine hundred and thirty-five thousand, three hundred and thirty-one naira, eighty-eight kobo.

 

The contract will be completed in four months from the date of mobilization.

 

In a release signed by the State Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu said that ANSEC also approved the release of the sum of five hundred and eighty-four million naira for the construction of the Four Prototype Judges’ Quarters at the unit cost of one hundred and forty-six million naira LOT.

 

The contract was awarded to Lot one, Artisan Developers Limited, Lot two, Times Construction Company Limited, Lot three, Tivoge Properties Limited and Lot four, Ben Daniels Global Impex Limited and will be completed in four months from the date of the payment of mobilization to the site.

 

The sum of three hundred and thirty-five million, seven hundred and ninety thousand, eight hundred and fifteen naira, eighty-six kobo for the Supply and Installation of thirty-two Numbers 5K Inverter with seven-point-five KW Lithium Batteries at Anambra State Judges Residence was awarded to El-Bukelz Nigeria Limited and will be completed in three months from the date of mobilization.

 

After a competitive bidding for the construction of the dilapidated eight hundred and thirty-four meters Works Road by Government Technical College and the entrance approach to the Ministry of Works, the contract was awarded to Strazbourg Investment Nigeria Limited at the sum of two hundred and thirty million, seven hundred and eighty-four thousand, seven hundred and sixty-two naira, fifty kobo.
