Governor Chukwuma Soludo has called on the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko to rebuild and reinvent the institution for effective service delivery.

 

Governor Soludo was speaking when members of the council led by Senator Barnabas Gemade visited him at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia

The Governor, who assured of his readiness for strategic partnership with them to rebuild the institution, lamented the state of the education system in the country, particularly tertiary education and told the new Council that it is an opportunity for them to do something unique.

 

Responding, Senator Gemade who described Governor Soludo as the most famous Central Bank Governor said that members of the council came on the courtesy call to inform him that they have began work in the institution.

Senator Gemade noted that the Polytechnic is of high repute in the area of technology and training, promising to bring the institution closer and collaborate with his government to add more value.

 

In attendance at the courtesy call were the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr. Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne, among others.
