The Transition Committee Chairman for Idemili North council area, Mr. Stanley Nkwoka has played host to All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA women leaders of Idemili North local Government Area.
The group led by Mrs Chika Okafor, visited Mrs. Nkwoka, in his office at Idemili North Secretariat, Ogidi.
During the meeting, the APGA Idemili women leaders congratulated the council Boss, whom they described as a party loyalist who has contributed a lot to the progress of the party and also in the state ministry of environment.
Receiving the group, Mr. Nkwoka praised the APGA women generally and affirmed his trust on them to deliver Governor Chukwuma Soludo in his second term bid.
He also promised to carry all the women and Ndi Idemili along in his administration.
The Idemili North mayor also used the opportunity to highlight his mandates which include shunning cultism amongst the youth, giving Idemili North a face lift by keeping the local government clean and working in line with Governor Soludo’s vision.
He advised them to always stand firmly and in unity that he would always assist them in his own capacity, as he would discuss with their leader to know the area he would help out
In his own contribution, Chief Donald Udemezue-Aroh, a party stalwart present during the courtesy visit, thanked the party women for the solidarity visit and support to the chairman, expressing optimism that the women leaders will work well with the chairman
He described women as the strong pillars of the families and society at large and advised them to always stand firm with the party.
