Communities in Anambra State have been urged to key into Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s transformation agenda to launch the State on the course of sustainable development.
Felicitating with Governor Soludo and his wife Nonye on their birthday anniversaries, the Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene said the present administration has brought a new dawn and revitalized all sectors of the State economy.
Paul Ezeoke reports that Chief Okeke Ogene noted that the Governor has remained focused and provided conducive and enabling environment for socioeconomic activities to thrive, harmonious coexistence in communities and cordial working relationship among the arms of government which he noted has improved productivity and efficiency in government activities.
Chief Okeke Ogene extolled the quality of roads, drainages, flyover and other infrastructural projects embarked upon by the Governor, noting that Awka has been elevated to proper status of a capital city with deserving roads, pipe borne water and other basic social amenities that are impacting positively on lives of people.
According to the Ohaneze Ndigbo Vice President the coconut and oil palm revolution initiated by the Governor would soon provide many families with sustainable sources of income, increase employment opportunities and provide raw materials for the manufacturing sector.
He said the Governor has justified the confidence reposed in him by the State electorate by fulfilling campaign promises and embarking on more projects beyond his promises to the people.
Also speaking, a retired teacher, Mr Fred Ikeazor, commended the Governor for his sustained efforts to reposition the education sector with mass recruitment of teachers.
Mr Ikeazor also lauded Mrs Soludo for promoting healthy living and core values across the state.
