A caller on ABS Radio programme Nzuko Anambra, David Okafor from Nanka in Orumba South Local Government Area has called on parents and guardians to avail their children and wards the opportunity of enrolling in Boy’s Brigade Nigeria to become useful to the society.
Speaking while contributing on the latest edition of the programme which centered on the role of Boy’s Brigade Nigeria in enthroning sanity in the society, Mr Okafor described Boy’s Brigade Nigeria as a foremost religious organization with emphasis on imbibing sound morals on the youths and charged parents and guardians to enroll their children in such organizations to bring them closer to their Creator.
Another caller on the programme, Mr Ifeanyichukwu Okoli from Onitsha emphasized on the need to support the Boys Brigade Nigeria with funds to enable them actualize their programmes, saying that with such support, the organization will be encouraged to organize seminars and workshops aimed at directing the mindsets of the members to their responsibilities.
The incoming president of the Anambra State council of the Boy’s Brigade Nigeria, Venerable Jason Onyeakagbusi, who enumerated the various functions of the organization towards directing the Youths to path of moral rectitude, called on the Anambra State government to find a way of giving the association subvention to enable it continue to live up to its basic responsibilities.
He described Boy’s Brigade Nigeria as a religious organization whose main focus is to bring young people especially the youths nearer to God, adding that the organization has a great role to play now that moral decadence is rampant in the society.
Venerable Onyeakagbusi thanked the Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting service ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu for his support and encouragement to the Anambra State council of the Boy’s Brigade Nigeria, calling for its sustainability.
