The Chief Whip, Anambra State House of Assembly, and member representing Ihiala Constituency One, Barrister Jude Ngobili has extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for flagging off the second phase of the “One Youth, Two Skills” initiative.

 

 

 

Correspondent, Emmanuel Chigbata reports that the second phase of the program is prel to train and empower over eight thousand youths through six hundred and twenty training centers strategically located across the state’s three hundred and twenty six political wards.

 

 

 

Speaking in Awka on the development, Barrister Ngobili highlighted the governor’s unwavering commitment to the empowerment of Anambra’s youth, describing the program as a significant step towards creating a sustainable future for the state.

 

 

 

Barrister Ngobili acknowledged that the pilot phase of the program, which empowered five thousand youths across various trades and skills, had already made a substantial impact on the state’s economy.

 

He lauded the initiative’s vision of transforming young people into millionaires and employers of labor, noting that the success of the first phase laid a solid foundation for the expanded objectives of the second phase.

 

 

 

Barrister Ngobili expressed confidence that the initiative will further strengthen Anambra’s economic resilience.

 

 

 

The lawmaker also commended the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, for his dedication to the project and for ensuring that the youths receive quality training.

 

 

 

Barrister Ngobili underscored the importance of the program in addressing the current economic challenges faced by the country, affirming that skilled and empowered youths are key to driving economic growth and innovation in Anambra State.

 

 

 

He expressed hope that the second phase of the “One Youth, Two Skills” initiative will produce not only skilled workers and entrepreneurs but also future leaders who will contribute significantly to the development of the State, urging the beneficiaries to take full advantage of the opportunity, as their success would reflect the collective progress of the state.
