The immediate former State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Sir Norbert Obi has extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his sustained efforts towards Agricultural revolution in Anambra State.

 

 

 

Speaking in Awka, Sir Norbert said the initiative would have multiplier effects on socioeconomic life of the people.

Sir Norbert noted that the Farm to Feed Programme will enable families, communities and the State to achieve food security, while the entire agricultural value chain would equally receive a boost.

 

 

 

He said that this would attract agro industries to various parts of the state to further open up rural areas, provide employment opportunities and discourage rural -urban drift.

 

 

 

Sir Norbert urged investors to take advantage of prevailing conducive business environment in the state to expand businesses.

 

Also speaking, the National Patron of Anambra Demand for Soludo, Chief Henry Igboeli, said the Governor is using his wealth of experience to launch the State on the course of sustainable development and build a strong economy.

 

 

 

Chief Igboeli noted that the Governor’s various agricultural programmes will end hunger and poverty in the state and enable families to feed themselves and earn more income.

 

 

 

He said it will also diversify the economy and rescue the country from the burden of mono economy which will engage people in productive ventures, reduce crime and social vices.

 

 

 

Chief Igboeli advised other Governors to emulate him to end economic hardship in Nigeria.
