The remains of the late Mrs. Christiana Eziaku Nwosu, have been laid to rest in her country home Adagbe village, Abatete in Idemili North Local Government Area.

 

In a requiem mass at Saint Dominic Catholic Church Abatete, one of the officiating priests, Reverend Father Michael Nwobodo urged those present to always reconcile themselves with God as man is worthless without God.

Reverend Father Nwobodo described the departed as a dedicated Christian who did her best in serving God and humanity.

 

Speaking after interment Mrs. Ebele Uzoegbu of the Anambra Broadcasting Service who is the deceased eldest child explained her to be one who always sues for peace, satisfied with her possessions and interacts easily with all and above all a devout Christian.

The deceased first son, Mr. Echezonachukwu Nwosu emphasized that their late Mother was a wonderful woman who lived distinctively, as she was peaceful, kind and truthful and also raised her children in Godly ways.

 

The last among her three children, Mr. Chijioke Nwosu thanked God for the mother’s longevity and noted that she was a caring mother.

Staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service led by the Head of Engineering, Mr. Paul Okoye, the Director of Administration, Miss Tina Ekenta, the Acting Director of News and Current Affairs Department, Mrs. Juddy-Jeff Nwabueze were present during the ceremony.

 

Dance performances by women groups featured prominently during the burial ceremony.

The late Mrs. Nwosu died at the age of eighty-four.
