The Woman leader of the All progressives Grand Alliance in Anambra State, Mrs Esther Onyekesi has paid a glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the State and those contributing to its steady growth and development.

 

Speaking in an interview with the ABS on the thirty-three years anniversary of the creation of the State, Mrs Onyekesi who acknowledged that Anambra is on steady progress in terms of human and Infrastructural development, expressed satisfaction with the purposeful leadership experienced within the past years and called on the people to always be alive to their civic responsibilities.

 

The APGA Woman leader described the present Government of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as one that has continued to touch all sectors of the State economy, including Health, Education, Agriculture, Human capital development and Road infrastructure, saying that all the exploits are indications that Governor Soludo is committed to improving the living standards of Ndi Anambra.

 

According to Mrs Onyekesi, the ongoing Construction of Roads across the state, construction of Modern fly over with terminals at Ekwulobia, construction of two thousand capacity Ekwulobia township stadium, among others has shown that the Soludo administration is poised to give the State a face lift.

 

She called on the people of Anambra to always support Government Programmes and policies, adding that the one youth two skills Initiative of the State government which has entered its second phase is part of the efforts of the Soludo administration towards making the youths employers of labour.

 

Mrs Onyekesi equally commended the Wife of the Governor of Anambra State Mrs Nonye Soludo for all her support to the Governor and in using her non-governmental organization, Healthy living with Nonye Soludo to impact positively on the lives of the people, especially women and children.
