As Anambra State marks thirty third anniversary of its creation, many stakeholders are commending the giant strides recorded so far.
In his reaction, the immediate Past State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, Sir Norbert Obi said that the state has weathered difficult and challenging years and emerged stronger with a brighter prospect.
Paul Ezeoke reports that Sir Norbert noted that previous administrations made their contributions in various sectors to make the state a pace setter in the country and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for drawing a new road map to raise the bar of governance, build a strong economy and more prosperous future for the state.
Also speaking, an APGA chieftain, Dr Mike Omenugha said that the state over the years has done commendably well in various sectors and created an image and identity of excellence at national and global spheres as each administration continued to consolidate the achievements of its predecessors to achieve a collective agenda.
Dr Omenugha expressed satisfaction that the state has today recorded commendable growth and development in various sectors, including road infrastructure, health, education, Agriculture, commerce, science and technology, human capital development, politics and sports among others.
He noted that Governor Soludo has demonstrated resolve and commitment in actualizing the vision of a “Smart Mega City”, that would engender “Livable and Prosperous Homeland for Ndi Anambra.
Dr Omenugha further explained that the Governor is fulfilling the promises he made to Ndi Anambra through the provision of democracy dividends in various parts of the state and has done well in infrastructural and human capital development, urging Ndi Anambra to continue to support him.
