Late Chief Linus Obi Iloka, who died at the age of ninety-four years has been given a befitting burial in his country home, Daezim village, Isulo, Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The burial ceremony which began with a Mass at Queen of Peace Catholic Parish, Isulo, had Priests, family, friends and well wishers who came to pay last respect to the deceased.
Reverend Father Zenfrinus Uzo, in his homily, reminded Christian that life on earth is transient and that there is need for them to have good relationship with God and their fellow human beings in order to gain eternal life.
Speaking after the interment of his Father, the eldest child, Mrs. Favour Iwuanorie of Administration Department of ABS, explained that the Father was a peaceful man, who found joy in Godly living and was very religious and extended same behavior towards his children.
Mrs Iwuanorie also noted that his Father was a hardworking man, who never faulted in his responsibilities including sharing what he has with others around him.
The second son, Mr. Chukwunonso Iloka, described his late Father as a good man, who was deeply religious in his Catholic faith and worked hard to take care of his nine children and was blessed with longevity.
Other children of the deceased, Chidiebele and Chimaobi Iloka affirmed that their father was a peaceful man, whom they would still want to be their father if giving opportunity to choose again, urging the living to live an impactful life to leave a legacy behind.
The President General of Isulo Development Union, Mr. Eze Onyeka in his reaction said late Pa Iloka would be missed, as a man who gave valuable advice and contributions during his lifetime.
The burial ceremony climaxed with condolence visit by family, friends and well-wishers including the ABS family led by the Head of Engineering, Mr. Paul Okoye, the Director of News and Current Affairs Mrs Juddy-Jeff Nwabueze and the Director Legal Services, Mrs Juliet Amasiatu.
