Privileged individuals and groups have been urged to collaborate with Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Public Private Community Partnership Initiative to further accelerate development in various communities through provision of democracy dividends in parts of the state.

 

Speaking in Awka, the Vice president of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Chief Damian Okeke Ogene said that the state has recorded commendable growth and development after thirty-three years of existence.

 

Paul Ezeoke reports that Chief Okeke Ogene noted that in spite of obvious challenges, Anambra State is doing much better than some states created before her and most of her contemporaries as successive administrations made commendable contributions in landmark infrastructural development to reposition the state to its present status.

 

He said that Governor Soludo has scaled up pace and quality of development in all sectors through his comprehensive and integrated approach to governance and expressed optimism that the state will soon witness unprecedented achievements in key sectors with level of work on the dualization of strategic roads to parts of the state, new Government House project, restoration of pipe borne water, Solution Fun City project and human capital development through empowerment and employment of thousands of youths and workers which are providing solutions to challenges of unemployment and social vices.

 

Chief Okeke Ogene expressed satisfaction that some individuals are already partnering the state government in developing their communities by embarking in various projects and urged Ndi Anambra in diaspora to participate actively in developing the state and extend some of their investments to the State and Igboland.

 

He enjoined the political class to always put the collective interest of the state above every other consideration and Southeast Governors to forge stronger synergy in the fight against insecurity to achieve the desired goals.

 

Also speaking, a community leader, Chief Nnamdi Ubanozie said Governor Soludo’s agricultural programmes will help to end hunger, poverty and economic hardship as well as provide families with multiple sources of income.

 

Chief Obanozie urged youths to embrace the state government’s skill acquisition programmes.
