The immediate past member that represented Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe has called on Anambra youths to embrace Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s one youth two skills entrepreneurship programme to become self-reliant.

Chief Obidigwe who gave this charge while speaking to newsmen in his Aguleri county home, said that the programme which was conceptualized by the Soludo administration is a game changer that must be emulated by other sub-national governments across the country.

The former federal lawmaker noted that Governor Soludo has distinguished himself as a great leader and administrator, through the introduction of the scheme which has now entered into second phase, adding that the initiative has empowered so many Anambra youths and also made most of them employers of labour.

According to Chief Obidigwe who is the Founder and National Leader of the United Anambra Youths Assembly and United Anambra Women Assembly, the one youth two skills scheme if copied by the federal government, will help to reduce youth unemployment that is bedeviling the country at the moment.

He pointed out that youth unemployment is the root cause of so many social vices in Nigeria like armed robbery, kidnaping for ransom, rape, thuggery, secessionist agitations among others.

Chief Obidigwe called on Ndi Anambra to keep supporting the Soludo led government as well as to vote enmass for all the candidates of the party in the forthcoming Anambra State Local Government election scheduled for September twenty-eight, 2024.
