More Ndi Anambra in the diaspora are heeding the call by Governor Chukwuma Soludo for public private community partnership in the development of the state.

One of such persons, Comrade Mathew Chukwukebe, in response to the call has cited a branch of his company, Global Exhibition Technology Limited along the Nwanchi/Aguluzigbo road, Amaezike village, Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area.

The company was commissioned in a grand ceremony by the Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area, Comrade Romanus Ibekwe.

 

Speaking while inaugurating the facility, Comrade Ibekwe who is also the flag bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance for Chairmanship election for the Local Government Area in the forthcoming September twenty-eight Election, said coming down to the village to set up a business of that magnitude shows that Anaocha is a true investors’ hub.

Comrade Ibekwe expressed optimism that the company will boost economic activities in the area and create job opportunities for the young people in the area.

 

He explained that his administration has created poll of skilled workforce through his administration’s skill acquisition programme which has seen to the training of five hundred youths to be empowered in different skills and the state government’s “One Youth, Two Skills” programme which has seen over five thousand youths trained and empowered across the State and eight thousand, six hundred and twenty others who are participating in the second phase of the programme.

The Founder and Managing Director, Global Exhibition Technology Limited, Agulu, Comrade Chukwukebe lamented that though Ndi Anambra are regarded as billionaire business men and multi-billionaires across the country and the globe but a greater percentage of their investments are not in the State, saying that this realization underscores the urgent need for Ndi Anambra to come home and invest.

 

Comrade Chukwukebe said he hopes that the company will bring opportunities to the teeming population of young people in the state and called on other wealthy Ndi Anambra to come home and be part of the development of their State.

An elder in Amaezike Village, Agulu, Chief David Onuigbo said that God has answered their prayers through their son as many young people have been gainfully employed.

 

Also in his remarks, an elder brother to Comrade Chukwukebe, Mr Fabian Chukwukebe expressed happiness with the bold steps taken by his brother, saying that their services are now close to the door steps of the people.

Global Exhibition Technology Limited with its head office located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State engages in digital media with specialization in signages, award plaques, monogramming, cladding, general printing, flex banners, billboards, corporate branding, pylon signs and scaffolding.

 

The before the official inauguration, Reverend Father Richard Ekegbo said a special prayer for the new branch.
