A business mogul, Chief Michael Okafor-Nwofia has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his numerous developmental strides across the state.
Speaking to newsmen in his Iyiora Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area country home, Chief Okafor-Nwofia said that Governor Soludo has done tremendously well in the past two years of his administration through the provision of basic social amenities in the state.
The business mogul extolled the Governor for his one youth two skills entrepreneurship programme which he said, has made Anambra youths self-reliant, economically buoyant and employers of labour.
He maintained that the programme which has entered its second phase if adopted by other state governments across Nigeria, will help in reducing crimes and all sorts of social vices in Nigeria, as well as reduce unemployment and over dependence on white collar jobs.
Chief Okafor-Nwofia extolled Governor Soludo for the construction of Mmiata Anam-Nzam road which was abandoned over the years by successive administrations, adding that the road has opened economic fortunes of Ndi Anambra West whom he described as the food baskets of the state.
He however called on the state government to redouble efforts in the area of security and urged the people of goodwill to support the government in the fight against insecurity, as according to him, security is everybody’s business.
