The late octogenarian Chief Mrs. Rebecca Enemou has been laid to rest, in her country home, Isiogugu Eziama, Amanuke in Awka North Council Area.

 

Her children and others who came to mourn her, including the Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honorable Chukwuma Okoye described her as a hardworking agriculturist and mother who nurtured her children well and lived honestly.

Speaking on his late mother, one of his sons and an All Progressives Grand Alliance, Stakeholder and Community leader, Mr. Ejike-King Enemou described her as a unique personality, who did not spare the rod in training her children and a hardworking farmer, who pioneered a lot of crop farming in Amanuke,

 

Another son of the deceased, Evangelist Levi Enemou said that her mother was a caring woman who promoted peace and did not take her agricultural enterprise for granted during her younger days.

A grandchild of the deceased, Chinenye Emeka described her as a caring, loving and peaceful woman whose advice is useful and indelible.

 

Also speaking, Mr. Linus Ezenwa, who is a relation of the family, thanked God for the longevity of the deceased.

Late Chief Mrs. Enemou died at the age of eighty-six and was survived by six children,

 

Dignitaries, associations and groups from far and wide came to pay their last respect and condolences to the family.
