The Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA for the September twenty-eight Local Government chairmanship election in Ekwusigo local government area Mr. Chimezie Obi says the good work of Governor Chukwuma Soludo will give the party landslide victory in the forthcoming local government election.
Speaking at the local government secretariat at Ozubulu, Mr Obi who is currently the transition committee Chairman of Ekwusigo local government area, said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has through his purposeful leadership restored people’s confidence in governance, pointing out that he will continue to domesticate all the people-oriented Programmes and policies of the Soludo administration in Ekwusigo local government area.
Mr Obi said that he will continue to create an enabling environment for enhanced development across the local government area through the provision of effective security of lives and property and charged the people to continue with their support to the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA.
Describing the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA as a political party with clear ideology and for the progressives Mr Obi reassured the people of Ekwusigo local government area more dividends of democracy with their continued support, and charged affluent individuals in Ekwusigo local government area to key into the private public community partnership Initiative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo for enhanced development of Anambra State.
Mr Obi disclosed that as part of efforts geared towards engaging the youths of Ekwusigo local government area effectively, the local government area under his leadership has established an ultra morden skills acquisition centre in the area where youths will learn various skills to become employers of labour.
He called on youths in Ekwusigo local government area to embrace the one youth two skills Initiative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to create a bright prospect for themselves.
Mr Obi used the opportunity to call on Ndi Anambra who have investments in different parts of the Country and beyond to bring part of them home for even development of the State and creation of jobs for the teeming youths in addition to boosting the internally generated revenue of Anambra State.
