The Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Christopher Molokwu says that the establishment must be urgently activated to meet up with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of driving government programmes and policies to all the nooks and crannies of the world.

 

Mr. Molokwu stated this during the inspection tour of various departments and units in the establishment, shortly after taking over from his predecessor Sir Chido Obidiegwu at the station’s headquarters, Awka.

 

According to Mr. Molokwu, ABS is one of the most structured government establishments, with talented staff that can compete globally and extended hands of fellowship to all in a bid to place the station above other media establishments in West Africa.

 

He revealed that Governor Soludo’s plans for the station are huge, pointing out the importance of ensuring that Ndi Anambra at home and abroad receive timely updates about developments in the state as well as opportunities for investments and reforms.

 

The new ABS boss pointed out that after ensuring that the staff are well motivated, he will speed up the harnessing process in order to enrich the establishment contents, and assured the staff, management and the public of a brand new ABS.

 

The new ABS MD was accompanied to the inspection tour by members of the management team among other senior staff of the organisation and was welcomed by joyful staff of the establishment.
