A guest at the Anambra Broadcasting Service audience participatory programme “Odimma Anambra” Chief Obi Ochije-Modilim has appealed to the State electorate to vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidates in the September twenty-eight Anambra Local Government Election.

 

Speaking during the programme, Chief Ochije-Modilim who is a stakeholder of the Party in Awka, commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for fulfilling the promise he made to Ndi Anambra during his governorship campaign that he will conduct the local government election.

 

Chief Ochije-Modilim who is also the Coordinator of the All Soludo Support Group (ASSG) in Anambra Central Senatorial District maintained that the Governor has truly impacted positively through infrastructural and human capital developments in all the local governments in the State.

 

According to the APGA chieftain, Governor Soludo has done a lot of transformational works in Awka, including the Agulu-awka road, club road, Ngozika phase one to Ekwueme square road, Regina Celi, Y- Junction to Isunaocha road among numerous others.

 

He equally listed the employment of over eight thousand teachers, healthcare workers, building of government house and lodge, which will make Governor Soludo to be the first Anambra Governor to live in Awka, the new flyover, Solution fun city and many other developmental strides.

 

Chief Ochije-Modilim maintained that APGA remains the party to beat in the forthcoming local government election, expressing his confidence in the Genevieve Osakwe led Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) in conducting an election that will be free, credible and fair.

 

He further extolled the Governor’s wife Nonye Soludo for using her healthy living with Nonye Soludo Initiative to bring back a healthy lifestyle to the state as well as his organic food campaign, urging her to sustain the tempo.
