In a bid to further enhance effective communication in Anambra state, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has appointed and sworn-in Dr. Law Mefor as the Commissioner for Information.
Governor Soludo performed the function at the Government House, Awka.
Dr. Mefor, an experienced journalist and communication expert, was appointed based on his track record in the media industry and his expertise in strategic communication.
Performing the function, Governor Soludo expressed his confidence in Mefor’s ability to deliver on the task.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Mefor expressed his appreciation to the Governor for the opportunity to serve the state, assuring the people of the state that his tenure would be focused on ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective communication between the government and the people.
According to Mefor, his office would be working closely with the media to achieve the government’s objectives.
He stated that the government’s policies and programmes would be communicated effectively to every nook and cranny of the state.
