Flood: Soludo Visits Maiduguri, Commiserates With Govt, People Of Borno

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has paid a solidarity visit to Maiduguri to commiserate with his Borno State counterpart, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, over the devastating floods that have ravaged the state.

The floods, caused by the collapse of the Alau Dam, have affected over one million individuals and displaced countless families.

Accompanied by top officials, including the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, the Executive Director of the Primary Health Development Agency, representatives from the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Emeka Offor Foundation, Governor Soludo stressed the need for collective support.

During his visit, Governor Soludo also paid a courtesy call on the Palace of the Shehu of Borno.

The Anambra State Governor prayed for God’s strength and solace to be upon the victims as they navigate this difficult journey.
