The Youth Wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has commenced a tour of key infrastructural projects undertaken by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration in Anambra State.

As part of the tour, the group inspected the new Government House and Lodge in Awka.

Correspondent, Emmanuel Chigbata reports that during the inspection, the leader of the Youth Wing, Mr. Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, described Governor Soludo as a “prayer answered” for Ndi Anambra and the Igbo race in general.


Accompanied by the National Executive Committee members from the seven Igbo-speaking states in Nigeria, Mr. Okpalaezeukwu expressed satisfaction with the ongoing development efforts, hailing the Government House project as a landmark achievement.

He described the facility as world-class, with state-of-the-art features and underscoring the governor’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure.


Mr. Okpalaezeukwu pledged group’s continued support for the governor, urging him to maintain the momentum of development in the state.
On his part, the National Publicity Secretary of the Youth Wing, Mr. Chika Adile, praised the scale of the project and lamented that Governor Soludo’s accomplishments have not been adequately publicized.

He also called on other states to emulate the governor’s efforts in infrastructural development.

Earlier, the group paid a courtesy visit to Eze Chukwuemeka Eri of Enugwu Aguleri, Anambra East local Government Area to seek blessings for their activities and acknowledge the projects initiated by the Soludo administration.


The Ohanaeze Youth Wing also met with the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, and the Anambra State Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Chukwuemekalum Udodeme, to discuss strategies for advancing the ideals of the Igbo people and ensuring sustainable development in the state.
