Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has announced a salary increase for both teaching and non-teaching staff at Osun State University (Uniosun), raising their pay by twenty-five percent and thirty-five percent respectively.
Speaking at the institution’s fourteenth convocation ceremony held at the Osogbo campus over the weekend, Governor Adeleke emphasised that the university is running smoothly due to the absence of strikes and labour unrest among workers.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Adebooye, attributed the institution’s successes to the dedication and hard work of its staff.
