Libya have opted to host Group D leaders Nigeria at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match-day four fixture on Tuesday, October fifteenth.

The facility is located in the city of Benina, some nineteen kilometres outside the country’s second city, Benghazi.

Known previously as Hugo Chávez Stadium, the venue is a ten thousand-capacity facility with an artificial turf.

Nigeria tops the pool with four points after a three-zero thrashing of Benin Republic in Uyo on match-day one and a goalless draw against Rwanda’s Amavubi in Kigali in their second game.

Libya, meanwhile, remains bottom of Group D after two rounds of matches, following a one-one draw at home to Rwanda and a two-one loss to the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in Abidjan.
