Anambra State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake has re-emphasized the commitment of the present administration in the state to meet and fulfill their obligations in counterpart funded projects with its partners.
The Commissioner stated this in Awka during the opening session of a two-day partnership co-ordination and review meeting organised by the ministry.
The programme which reviews the achievements, constraints, lessons learnt and assess the relevance of programme interventions attracted participants from ministries, departments and agencies, non-governmental organizations and the media.
Mrs Nnake maintained that there is need to have an understanding of all partners operating in the state so that they can pass through the necessary process to ensure proper continuation of partnership activities in the state.
On her part, the Head of Department, Partnership Co-ordination Department, Mrs Obiananma Orji said she was optimistic that the meeting would help improve the implementation of projects in the state.
The partners who were present during the day one, took turns to illustrate their impact and efforts to contribute to the development and growth of the state.
