The Anambra State Government is to begin the payment of New Minimum Wage to Anambra workers next Month.
Governor Chukwuma who Soludo announced this at Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center, Awka while meeting with all Principals and Head teachers in public primary and secondary schools, also announced Free Education for Senior Secondary School Students in All Public Schools.
Governor Soludo who stated that from next week, the free education policy will be available to Senior students in all public schools in Anambra, assured that even with the slim resources, his administration will continue to work very hard to deliver on the mandate.
Those who attended the event included the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh.
