Ndi Anambra have been informed that there will be restriction of movement throughout the state, today Saturday 28 September, 2024, from eight o’clock in morning to four o’clock in the evening because of the Anambra state local government election scheduled to hold tomorrow.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor.
According to the release, the restriction is to ensure a peaceful and seamless exercise during the Anambra State Local Government Council Election, except for those on election duties and essential services such as ANSIEC officials, Election Observers, accredited journalists, ambulances responding to medical emergencies, firefighters among others.
The release advised for full compliance from all to avoid the wrath of the law.
