The hearts of Ndi Anambra were filled with joy as the news of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s extension of the free Education policy to Senior Secondary School broke out yesterday as well as his promise to commence payment of minimum wage to civil servants in October.
Queen Anigbogu who felt the pulse of the people reports that with this initiative, Governor Soludo will be putting money back to the pockets of Ndi Anambra.
The extension of the free education to Senior Secondary School is in addition to the ongoing policy of free education for pupils from kindergarten to Junior Secondary School three.
A cross section of Ndi Anambra who spoke with the ABS including, a former President General of Nibo Union, Sir Okey Nwankwo, a civil servant, Mr. Chibundo Umeadi and a student Treasure Enyim described the Governor’s gesture as empathic knowing how situations are in Nigeria presently.
