The Federal Government has announced a plan to increase compressed natural gas infrastructure and cut transportation fares by over four per cent.

This initiative was formalized during a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony in Abuja, which brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the National Union of Road Transport Workers from Itakpe, Adavi, and Ajaokuta train station units in Kogi State.

The Programme Director of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative, Dr. Michael Oluwagbemi, emphasised the government’s commitment to affordable transportation amidst rising fuel prices.
