The Chairman-elect of Awka North Local Government Area, Dr ThankGod Anago has received the certificate of return for emerging victorious in last Saturday’s Anambra Local Government Election.
Dr Anago received the certificate at the headquarters of the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission, ANSIEC, alongside other chairmen-elects of other local government areas of the state.
Dr Anago while expressing gratitude to God Almighty for giving him victory at the poll, appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo for availing him the opportunity to serve his people Ndi Awka North, in this capacity, as their Mayor.
Extending his appreciation to his political family, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for providing him the platform, the newly elected Awka North Mayor thanked the people of the area for their support and massive votes, saying that his victory in the election is a victory for the people.
