The federal government has been urged to evolve policies and initiatives that would accelerate industrial development and economic growth.

Speaking in Awka, the Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene lamented that after sixty-four years, Nigeria is still challenged by economic hardship and unemployment, noting that putting the right framework would encourage investors to establish more industries while review of the academic curriculum will promote vocational education that would enable youths to become self-reliant after school.

Chief Okeke Ogene expressed satisfaction that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is not relenting in transforming all sectors of the State economy through massive infrastructural and human capital development, reminding the federal government of the need to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu to enhance stability in the Southeast region.
