Anambra State has joined its counterparts globally to commemorate the 2024 World Oxygen Day.
World Oxygen Day is being celebrated annually on October second to raise awareness about the critical roles oxygen plays in human lives and to promote the importance of oxygen therapy for individuals with respiratory conditions.
Oxygen is a fundamental element that sustains life on earth and its significance cannot be overstated.
Speaking to the ABS during a road sensitization to mark the event, the Managing Director of the Anambra State Medical Oxygen Plant, Mrs. Nwamaka Arinze appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his numerous supports to them, including the provision of two hundred cylinders and another three hundred cylinders on the way.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “breathe better, walk together”.
