The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, has urged the people of Ogbaru to embrace the Think Home Initiative of the Soludo administration, to promote investments.

He made the call during the 2024 Ogbaru Economic Summit held in Awka, with the theme, Driving Sustainable Economic Development in Ogbaru: Our Road to Prosperity, aimed to explore ways to stimulate growth in the area.


House of Assembly Correspondent Emmanuel Chigbata reports that Right Honourable Udeze, emphasized that the summit offers a valuable platform to shape the future of Ogbaru.

In a remark, Governor Chukwuma Soludo represented by the Commissioner for Budget, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, described Ogbaru as central to the economic development of the state.


Senator Stella Oduah, the Member representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Chief Afam Ogene, the Managing Director, Anambra State Investment, Promotion and Protection Agency, Mr. Mark Okoye and the Member Representing Ogbaru Constituency One in the State House of Assembly, Mr Noble Igwe highlighted strategies to foster sustainable development in Ogbaru.


The Chairman on the occasion and traditional ruler of Omor, Igwe Chris Oranu called for the establishment of a Security Trust Fund to enhance safety in Ogbaru.
