A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Boniface Egbutu, has expressed optimism that the conduct of the local government election in Anambra State and the recent swearing-in of the twenty-one Local Government Mayors and their Deputies, by Governor Chukwuma Soludo will deepening democracy at the grassroots.
Speaking to the ABS in Awka, Chief Egbutu who is also a community leader at Nise in Awka South Local Government Area tasked the newly inaugurated Mayors to work towards restoring the confidence of the people in the Local government administration.
Describing Governor Soludo as a jinx breaker and promise keeper, Chief Egbutu urged Ndi Anambra to continue with their support to Governor Soludo and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for more dividends of democracy.
