A business Executive Chief Jonathan Nzekwe has called on the federal government to seek ways of strengthening the Naira to improve its purchasing power.
Speaking to the ABS on the sixty fourth anniversary of. Nigeria as an independent and sovereign Nation, Chief Nzekwe a knight of Saint Christopher in the Anglican communion, regretted the over dependence of Nigerian business Men on the dollar for business transactions as a result of the poor value of the Naira and called for more measures to salvage the situation.
Chief Nzekwe urged the federal government to issue more licenses to serious indigenous investors to build modular refineries in the country to check the scarcity and hike in the pump price of petrol, create jobs for the teeming youths and boost the economy.
