Uga community in Aguata local government area has celebrated their 2024 Udo Oye Uga in accordance with the custom and traditions of the community.
Speaking to journalists after performing rituals at Obi Udo Oye Uga to mark the event, the chief priest of Udo Oye Uga, Chief Chukwunenye Okoli explained that the event provides the opportunity for those who believe in the gods of the land to appreciate them and to seek his protection next year.
Also speaking , a special guest at the ceremony, Nze Ifeanyi Umeonyido felicitated with people at the festival and called on Ndi Igbo to be proud of their tradition in order to prosper in their businesses and enjoy longevity.
At the ceremony, masquerades from various villages in Uga and their Kneighbouring communities danced to the admiration of all present.
