To ensure ease of doing business, Anambra State government has organized a discussion meeting with key players and financiers of Small and Medium Enterprises, at the International Convention Center, Awka.

The meeting was organized by State Action on Business Enabling Reform to achieve Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s mandate of ranking the best state in promoting Small and Medium Enterprises in Nigeria.


Governor Chukwuma Soludo represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr Christian Udechukwu explained that his administration is poised to ensure ease of doing business in the state by providing quality access roads, and other infrastructure.

The Managing Director, Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, Mr Mark Okoye, said that Anambra is on course to make business transactions easy by ensuring that necessary machineries are in place to encourage businesses to thrive while the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, said that her Ministry is very much interested in providing enabling environment for business transactions.


The Managing Director, Anambra State Small Business Agency, Sir Clement Chukwuka maintained that ASBA has been working hard in giving one digit loan to entrepreneurs.

The event with the theme” Financing the Future: Expanding Credit Opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises in Anambra state” featured a question-and-answer session.
