The Kano State Government has donated one hundred million to support victims of the recent fuel tanker explosion in Majiya town, Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Governor Abba Yusuf announced the donation during a condolence visit to his Jigawa counterpart, Umar Namadi, at the Government House in Dutse.

No fewer than one hundred and fifty-three victims wereburied on Wednesday, while many others were rushed to hospitals for medical treatment after sustaining various degrees of injuries in the tragic incident.
